Privacy statement

What data I use
When you get in touch (phone, WhatsApp or email): your name, phone number or email address and what you tell me, so I can reply and plan an introductory walk.
When we start a programme or retreat: your name, contact details, (billing) address and what we agree in the coaching agreement. During the programme I make brief notes about our conversations.
When you visit the website: the site runs on Squarespace, which uses essential cookies to make it work and keeps anonymous visitor statistics. I don’t use advertising cookies.
Why
To answer your question, to deliver the programme we agree on (performance of a contract) and to keep my accounts (legal obligation). I only publish quotes from coachees with their permission, and only with their initials.
Confidentiality
What you share on a walk stays between us. I work according to the NOBCO code of ethics. My notes are for me only and I share them with no one, unless you ask me to.
How long I keep data
Contact details with no follow-up: up to one year. Programme notes: up to two years after our last walk, or shorter if you ask. Invoices and agreements: seven years, as required by Dutch law.
Who I share data with
I never sell your data. It only goes to services I need for my work: my website builder (Squarespace), my email (Google), WhatsApp if you message me there yourself, and my accountant. These parties are bound to handle data with care.
Security
The website uses a secure connection (https). Digital records are password-protected; paper notes are kept locked away.
Your rights
You can always ask to see, correct or delete your data (except what I am legally required to keep). You can also object or withdraw your consent. Send me an email and I will respond within four weeks. If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
